Compata is an informal association of computer software professionals. Primary services offered include:

• Conduct a feasibility or progress review of an on-going or prospective project and deliver written recommendations. Management may appreciate such an outside objective appraisal before commiting initial or additional funding.


• Conceptual or detailed design of a software or network development. While the "agile" fashion today seems to be to start and continue development without much more than an idea, experience shows that careful consideration of how a project might evolve can save both time and money. Time to market is important but should not be the only consideration, especially since long-term support of a development can lead to significant future problems.
